Bola Badmus is a young and dynamic Financial Accountant with strong competencies in Audit and Assurance Services including Preparation and Analysis of Financial Statements. She is the Chief Financial Officer of Periscope Consulting Ltd with oversight functions of finance, account, Internal control/audit across various strategic business units ranging from Banking, Financial Service, Bureau de Change, Construction and General Service Delivery. With several years of experience across different industries and sectors, Bola’s scope of expertise ranges from taxation, audit, revenue assurance and revenue audit, financial modeling to recovery amongst various service delivery areas.
Bola is versatile in International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS) implementation. She has been involved in various projects for Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies in varied sectors where she has been deeply involved in reviewing accounting policies, processes and procedures. Her experience also spans across finance functional leadership including business operations, business development and public finance management.
As a result of her experience in supervising the overall financial risks of organisations, she has acquired numerous skills such as problem solving skills, cash management and corporate finance competencies, among others. Bola is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN),
Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and currently running a Master Program (MSc.
Financial Management) with Edinburgh Business School; Herriot-Watt University, UK.
